Happy Ministry Assistants Day!

It’s a day to celebrate YOU and all that you do which is more than answering phones,

• More than scheduling appointments…
• More than newsletters and emails…
• More than greeting visitors.

You’re late to your son’s soccer game because…

… you stayed late to make sure the bulletin was ready.

…well, VBS starts tomorrow.

… an important call came in at the last minute and you had to move heaven and earth to track down a staff member.

Dinner will be takeout tonight because…

…the information you need for the excel spreadsheet for tomorrow mornings meeting was not turned in until 15 minutes ago.

…the computer decided to take an extended nap before you saved changes the Pastor wanted (AT THE LAST MINUTE) on the PowerPoint you had created for Sunday’s sermon after working on it for TWO HOURS!

…someone came in, plopped down in the chair and needed SOMEONE to listen,

AND SO MUCH MORE!

I pray you get the kudos, the thank you, the appreciation that you deserve, not only today but throughout the year in your area of ministry. However, for some, it is just not an easy thing to say or show, just because of their personality, etc., but deep down I bet they appreciate you just the same. Others will shower you with words of affirmation on a regular basis, because that is their personality.

Just remember you ARE appreciated by the ONE who sees your heart and knows ALL that you do and that it is indeed MORE. He has your bejeweled crown waiting.
